Storm A Brewin'

The radar was going crazy on Saturday and all indications led to indications that there was quite a storm moving in from the Southwest. I'm not much of a storm chaser but I figured I'd give it a try this time, staying as dry and non-lightning struck as possible.

I was at the beach in Arcadia for a couple hours and was a bit disappointed--instead of hurricane winds and alien world lightning I was instead seeing the occasional two foot wave and about the most ho-hum sky I have ever seen. And then, as if out of nowhere, this strange torpedo shaped cloud that seemed to stretch for miles appeared and while I was excitedly taking photographs of that, another one appeared, again, as if out of nowhere.

Of course, both of these ominous looking weather features were moving directly at me and, of course, I was inadequately prepared for even the slightest bit of storm, much less the wrath this sky promised...and, as quickly as they appeared they disappeared.

I think I counted about six rain drops total, give or take a few. I also counted a few blessings!
