We had quite the heat wave in July and then, seemingly out of nowhere, it felt like October was making an early entrance! Cold, gloomy, and plenty of rain, the heat was snapped in no time at all and we were reminded--in case we had forgotten--what summer is like in Michigan!

The good news? All that rain made way for some beautiful cloud formations and breathtaking sunsets like this one. Empire Beach.
